A Promise Made in the Garden
I am raising funds to bring my beloved sister Mila’s final dream to life: restoring our family home, Villa Pellati, located in the beautiful village of Strevi, Italy.
Mila passed away from lung cancer after a brave, nine-year battle. Despite her illness, she fought through countless adversities to protect this house. A few months before she passed, as we sat together in the garden, she shared a vision that changed everything:
“Carolina, it would be wonderful if we could restore the house in the Franciscan spirit to welcome families who cannot afford to go on holiday. At the same time, we could create a small museum in one of the rooms to house a collection of memorabilia, honoring everything our family built here.”
Mila left me her half of the house, and with it, a beautiful dream. Now, I am determined to keep that promise.

⚠️ A Race Against Time: The Official Mandate
Today, the villa is in a derelict state, and we are facing a strict deadline.
I recently received an official legal mandate from the Soprintendenza delle Belle Arti of Alessandriaordering the immediate structural restoration of the property. What was once a beautiful future dream is now an urgent legal requirement. Time is of the essence.
Neither Mila nor I ever had the financial means to complete this project alone. To satisfy the government mandate and save the villa from being lost forever, we need your help.

Rebirthing Villa Pellati
With your support, we plan to breathe life back into this historic home and its community through three distinct phases:
The Memorial Concert: Once the building is safe, we will host a concert dedicated to everyone who loves this home and recognizes its crying need to be saved.
Cultural & Spiritual Hub: We will host regular artistic, spiritual, and cultural events to revive the house and its historic gardens.
A Franciscan Sanctuary: In our second phase, we will open our doors to provide affordable, peaceful holidays for low-income families in need of rest.
